Lenten Studies

It has been the practice at St. Georges to hold a series of Lenten studies during Lent as part of our penitential tradition.  Studies are held in the room behind the chapel on Thurdays at 6:00 p.m.  The topics and presenters for this year's study are:

February 25th -- The Ancient Synagogue Worship and the Development of Morning Prayer by Bishop Pressey

March 4th -- The Influence of Celtic Christianity on Anglican Worship by Rev. Ternahan and Mr. Horsey

March 11 -- The Ethical and Moral Teachings of Jesus by Rev. Bylo and Mr. Roberts

March 18 -- The Evidence of the Doctrine of the Trinity in the Old and New Testaments by Mrs. Lisa Evetts, Bible Study Director

March 25 -- Personal Salvation and Corporate Worship by Rev. Pressey

All are invited to come and share in the discussion.
